15 - Wishes

"If you had three wishes, what would they be?"

If I had three wishes what would they be? Hmmmm.... first is that I wish I was always lucky. Who wouldn't want to right? Think about it. What would happen if you we're always lucky? Everything would suddenly be right in front of you. If you're hungry, someone would just suddenly come in front of you and give you gourmet food. All the women would fall in love you. You'll always get the job you wanted. Everyone will be praising you. You'd always win the lotto. You could even be the president of the world! The possibilities are endless if your always lucky my friend! Just think about it. Look at how many good things would happen to you. YOU ARE THAT LUCKY!

My second wish would be to have the ability to have control over jizz. Once again, think about it. Controlling somebody's jizz. You'll just go, "jizz your pants!" and that person would suddenly wet himself/herself. You could even use it for self defense! Imagine your robber uncontrollably jizzing himself. He won't have the energy to even runaway. You could turn the tables around, you're gonna be the one robbing him! Oh the possibilities! What if superheroes and supervillains were also real and you're was controlling jizz. You'll be unstoppable! You'll be stronger than any other superhero or supervillain. Beating the hulk would be as easy as opening an egg! Just imagine it, the hulk jizzing himself and then slowly turning back to human. Not only that, every girl would want to be with you. That I don't need to explain.

My last wish which is kinda cliche but is still wise is to wish for more wishes. I don't need to explain this one anymore. It's pretty self-explanatory as to why I want 3 more wishes.

14 - A letter to me

"Write something nice about yourself"

I've always degraded myself in front of others, telling them I'm not good at anything. I'm just a simple man trying to live a life. Eventhough some people tell me that I'm good, I always tell them the opposite. Always neglecting their compliment. Telling that I'm a nobody, trying to be somebody. This time, just this time, I'm going to praise myself just for fun maybe. I'm gonna do it by  writing a letter to myself.

Dear JC,

Don't you ever degrade yourself man. You are one of the most awesome guy I've ever met. You volunteered as an usher to almost every event during college week and the school of multimedia arts week. Because of you, all the events were successful! Almost every event went smoothly because of you. Thank you for that! We are very great full to have someone as awesome you! We're really sorry though that we weren't able to watch you're dance during the APC Dance Company Blockbuster Concert. You really wanted us to go to that event so we called support you and the whole front act. You kept on telling us to go but we still didn't go and we're really sorry about. If it makes you feel better, we've watched the video of your dance. Might we say, YOU ARE AN AMAZING DANCER! With all those crazy pop and lock moves, the head isolation, the fluidity of your dance! Not only are you an awesome person, you're also a very good dancer! We also watched your float presentation, might we say that you guys where the best we've seen. The moves we're just amazing! It was like watching a fight scene straight from the video game! It was that awesome! You guys should have won! Even your float should've won! Although it was small, the detail and the meaning behind stood out from the rest! You guys should really have won! I guess that's all we can say for now. Just remember, you are an amazing person, don't change! We love you that way.

Sincerely yours,
Your imagination

13 - Bad Combination

"What was it like to get glasses or braces"

Have you ever worn braces before? How about glasses? How about both at the same time? Back in my high school days I wore them at the same time. It's one of the worst combination ever! I looked like a total nerd who'll never get a girlfriend. The humiliation I got at first was degrading but during the long run, people got used to it.

I got sidetracked a bit there, let's talk about what it feels like to have braces on first. For the first 3 days it's going to hurt like hell! It hurts so bad that you can't even talk properly. Not only that you can't even eat properly. The food you love eating, like chicken, bacon, freaking spaghetti, you're gonna have a really hard time eating them. The only food I ate was soup, I even had to drink it using a straw! It's that bad! Especially for me since my tooth was totally crooked. My teeth were alternating. Inside, out, inside, out, inside, out. It was literally ugly to look at. There's this weird feeling once you get braces on. Especially for the first time, it feels like you want to remove a really big debri in your mouth. Even after the 3 day agony, there's still the times where the rubber band holding the metal would suddenly snap. I had to spend a whole day wearing a broken brace. Also, I have a tip, don't eat really hard food. Like candy, popcorn, apple. Don't eat those as is. You have to grind them or something. Just make it less hard. Trust me, if you don't your gonna accidentally remove one of the brace from your mouth, and the feeling you get if that happens suck!

Glasses on the other hand are awesome! These puppies are a blessing for those with bad eyesight. Well duh, it's pretty self explanatory. Anyway, for those who never had to wear glasses, the feeling is like this. Imagine your watching a 240P video in youtube but the quality is much more suckier than that. Imagine that as your eyesight. Then once you put on your glasses in becomes 1080P. HD MOFO's! That's what it feels like! It's like being blessed a thousand times. The feeling is amazing! Seeing things in crystal clear and in high definition! It's like upgrading your small black and white TV to a full HD 1080P Plasma Screen TV!

12 - Inspirational Peeps

"Who is the person alive today that you would most like to meet and talk to? Why? What would you like to
ask?"

Just this once, I'm going to break the rules. There are actually three persons that I admire the most who's still alive today. The three of them made a great impact on who I am today. Even though they don't know me directly, they we're still able to help and inspire me through the things they do.

Let's start with number three. He played as the common bank clerk who transforms into a manic witty superhero named The Mask in the 1994 movie entitled, "The Mask". He also played as the ever great pretender, Count Olaf in the 2004 movie called "A Series of Unfortunate Events. He also played the cold and heartless furry green recluse name Grinch. You've probably already guessed who it is now. If not, dammit man. The clues I gave are already a giveaway. Just go and google it! Back to my topic. The person that I'm talking about is non other than Jim Carrey himself. The reason is because, if you've noticed by the clues I gave, this guy is an amazing actor! He was able to act as a man who acts like other people. He was able to portray the character he's playing properly. Especially the movie "The Mask" Compared to "The Mask 2", Jim portrayed the mask better than the 2nd "The Mask" He was able to capture almost all the mannerisms of the character he's portraying. Especially in the movie, A series if unfortunate events, where he played the character who could act  out a lot of other characters. That right there is amazing.

Number 2 would be the guy who jumps from building to building like spiderman. He does his own death defying stunts just to make the movie as accurate and as believable as possible.Another reason why I idolize him is because he choreographs all his own fight scenes in all of his movie. Not only that he also created his own fighting style called the drunken master which he also made a movie about. This guy is just simply amazing. He's like
one of those really hard to find gems. He's just one of a kind.

The last one in my list, can swim. He can surf, play soccer, play the drums, he can even go fishing. I know you've noticed that these are things that normal people would do. What separates this last one from us is that this dude that I'm talking does not have any limbs. OMG right? This guy is one of the most inspirational man on earth, inspiring people that eventhough he was made as such, he overcame the difficulties with it. He used it to his advantage. He shared his life story to many about not giving up. Now he has become a great inspiration to us. His name is Nick Vujicic. He was bullied since he was kid. He even tried committing suicide once but his mother convinced him not to. She told him to look more on the positive things instead of the negative ones. As a result he became an inspiration to millions of people. Now he is married and he has a child. Can you believe that? A limbless man getting married and having kids, he even became an inspiration to many. I could somewhat relate to him because back in highschool, I've always been bullied. Always, but then I said to myself, no more! This has to stop! So I stood up for myself from then on and right now I'm on top!

11 - Summer Plans

"My plans for the summer"

Ahhhh.... Summer time. The time almost every student has been waiting for. It's the time where all the students would have 2 months of free time. No more annoying teachers, no more stressful homework's, no more brain squeezing quizzes, no more nose bleeding long tests. However, students are not the only ones benefiting during summer break. Parents have been waiting for summer time as well. No more tuition fees to pay, no more low grades that would annoy the crap out of them, no more waking up very early just to drop their kids to school, and most of all, no more allowance to give.

2 Months of free time. What to do during that long period of time? Last summer, I did nothing. I just became a potato couch for the whole 2 months. Just watching TV, wasting my time playing CODMW2 for countless hours, and sleeping like a bear hibernating. This year, I've decided that I won't waste my time doing worthless shiznitz. I'm going to make this summer worth while.

The first thing on my list would be to create my first legit digipainting. I've always been fascinated at those realistic and creative digipaintings. I've always wanted to re-create the things I've always imagined and I must, they're pretty awesome in my imagination. All I need to do now is work on my skills in digipainting.  Since I'm a Multimedia Arts student, learning how to digipaint would help me a lot for my upcoming digipainting subject. There's a reason why I picked digipainting instead of the traditional art where you use atual paint. The reason is pretty simple and actually kinda wise. The reason why I picked digipainting is because of these 3 main reasons: It's not messy, It's fast, and the last one, CONTROL Z MOFO'S! In traditional you have to mix paint and all that. It consumes a lot of time. Digipainting on the other is the opposite of that.

The next thing on my list would be to make an action video with my cousins. I have loved making videos since I was a kid, even up to now, I still love making videos. The feeling I get every time I shoot make an awesome video is cannot be explained. It's like that feeling you get when you've done something amazing. Since I've been watching a lot of action movies lately, I decided on making a short action film myself. Complete with stealth kills like in Assassins Creed, Parkour exhibition like in District B-13 Ultimatum, and fast paced fist fights like in the movie IP Man.

After accomplishing those two main goals of mine, I'll be continuing being productive for the remaining weeks. I'll be polishing my skills in soccer. I'll further improve my skills in parkour since that is one of my favorite extreme sport ever! I'll also be improving my skills in photography. That would greatly help me in my future subjects in college.

That is how I'll most likely spend my whole summer. Improving my skills to become a better person. But Judging  but the number of goals I typed, I'm definitely going to be a couch potato again. I'm gonna do what I did last summer, nothing. Just kidding! I wanna be productive this summer. I'm not going to waste my time doing nothing again.

10 - PARKOUR

"I always wanted to"

You're walking alone in a street you're not familiar with. Not a single soul was seen walking in the street you're currently walking on. Moments later you feel like someone is following you. You stop for awhile trying to figure if what you're feeling is true. After a few seconds you start walking again but this time, you look at your surroundings trying to figure out which way leads to a faster escape. While you're thinking of a path you suddenly hear a sound. You stopped and tried listening to it better just to clarify if what you're hearing is true. The footsteps suddenly became louder and faster as you tried listening to it. You start walking faster and faster just like the footsteps you're hearing. As you move faster and faster, the number of steps you hear increases more and more. You looked behind you and to your surprise 5 thugs are trying to chase you! You start running faster, you followed the path where the alley leads you. Unfortunately, you ran into a dead end. You look back and you see 5 men running towards you. You looked around the area to see if there's any way out. 50 feet walls surround you. They're coming closer and closer. You need to find a way to escape.

As they came closer you suddenly remembered what your parkour trainer taught you. You traced a path that would most likely result in you escaping the 5 men trying to chase. You analyze the situation. You realize that there is now way to escape the area unless you get past the five men. You don't have any knowledge in fighting but you knew how to do parkour. As they came near to you, your heart starts beating faster. Your adrenaline increases. You saw a man going near the side of the wall. You ran towards the him. You jumped towards the side of the 50 foot wall and started doing a horizontal wall run. One, two, three long steps at the wall and then you land safely on floor. You saw a fire escape ladder which was hanging 8 feet away from the ground. You ran towards it. You jumped, kicked the side of the wall, and grabbed onto to the ladder. You climbed up and up and up until you reach the rooftop. You looked down and saw the men having trouble getting the ladder down. You spat on them and ran away. Jumping from building tops to building tops, losing them from sight. You runaway safely and unscathed.

District B13 Ultimatum Chase scene

I've always wanted to do stuff like that. Jumping from building top to another building top. Precision jumping from rail to another rail. Cat leaping from wall to another wall. Wall running from a wall and then cat leaping to another wall. Stuff that David Belle, Sébastien Foucan, and Jackie Chan does.

For the readers who does not know what parkour is, parkour is moving from point A to point B the quickest way possible using only your body and your sorroundings. The trick of parkour is to use as little wasted movement while going past an obstacle. Just like the video you saw. David Belle moved from one building to another without even going to the first floor. Parkour should not be confused with Freerunning though. Free running includes tricks and flips when moving from point A to point B. Tricking and flipping isn't really necessary. It would most like slow the runner down in someway.
Freerunning

Parkour

Ever since I was a kid, I've always been interested in watching death defying stunts. I'd even pretend that I'm actually doing them; jumping from one curb to another "like" a boss! One morning, while I was talking about how Jackie leaps from one obstacle to another with style, my friend told me that he what Jackie Chan is doing is called parkour. After that, I searched for it on youtube and found a lot about it. I watched tutorial videos and whatnot, and then I would try doing them. As of now I am able to do cat leaps, horizontal and vertical wall runs, precision jumps, and vaults, but its still wasn't enough. My friend then told me that his brother is actually the founder of Parkour Philippines (PKPH). Unfortunately his brother was too busy to teach the both of us so me and my friend decided on practicing ourselves. Up to now we're still training and we're still noobs at. We're still stuck with cat leaps, precision jumps, wall runs, and vaults. But hey, at least we're active and productive not a couch potato.

9 - A Poem

Death

Death is inevitable
No one is born to live forever
We can never avoid death, nor can we run away from it
The only thing we can do is to embrace it and live with it

My uncle, the closest uncle that I've ever had
The uncle that would take care of me when my parents left for a party
The uncle that would make me laugh like Chewbacca on steroids whenever I'm down and under
Was diagnosed with cancer

As I saw him clinging on to his last breath
On the door there was knocking, it was death
He came to collect what was never his
Life, that's just the way it is

During his burial, I took a last glimpse of him
But it wasn't my uncle that I saw
It was my father taking his place in the coffin
I was left in fear and awe

I tried my best not to cry
As I see my father's image lying inside the coffin of my uncle who died
I tried my best to tell myself that it's my uncle who died and not my father
I even tried concealing myself beside our tall and fat drawer

But alas, my best did not suffice
My father went to me and asked me what was wrong
I did not want him to know what I was really thinking during that time alone
I did not know how to respond him so I had no choice but to cry and point at my dead uncle's coffin

You're gonna die
You're gonna die
You're gonna die
We are all gonna die
But one thing I learned is that we should never let that thought "we are all gonna die" hinder us from living our life to the fullest

Let's all remember
Let's all imprint this in our mind
We only have one life to live
Let's make each and every single moment count

8 - Qualities of a Good Friend

"Describe the qualities of a good friend."

Life is a long, hard, and challenging journey. No man can survive life alone. You'll always need the help of others. That's where friends come along. Friends are our companions in life. They make our lives a lot easier than it was before. Without them, it'll take us longer to accomplish our goals. But what exactly should the qualities of a true friend should be.

In my opinion a true friend should be trustworthy. Trust is the foundation of a good relationship. A good relationship, whether it be romantic or not, needs trust. Imagine if your friendship didn't have any of it. It'll just all fall apart like an old house slowly being eaten bit by bit by termites. Faith in each other will also be lost. Both sides would probably think that they're lying to each other. In result, the relationship is broken.

A good friend accepts you for who you are. Your friend knows how to ride with your punch lines and go with your flow. Whether it be corny or just plain stupid, they do whatever they can to make you feel like a somebody. They may insult you sometimes but they know that what their limitations are. They may not be able to read your minds but they know that you're pissed off, truly happy, or down in the dumps.

Another trait that I think a true, good friend should have is that they stick with you in good times and bad times. They'll try their best to be always by your side during your good times and your bad times. Whenever something bad happens to you, they do whatever it takes to comfort you. They do whatever they need to just to make you feel happy again. Whenever you're in a bad mood, they'll try whatever they can to bring back that joyous smile in your face.

One of the traits that I think a true, good friend should have is that they should help mold your character. They tell when you are wrong, and they try to help you change your attitude. They help in turning you into a better person. A person that when left with strangers, is able to immediately cope and interact with them as if they've already known each other for a very long time. A person that is able to naturally make other people laugh their butts off. A person that when approached to, knows what the next thing he's supposed to say and do. You may not be a perfect friend, but they'll do whatever they can to change you for the better. They will try to bring out the best in you.

The last, but not the least trait that a true friend should have in my opinion is that they do not leave you behind. A true will never make you feel like a nobody. They try to keep you up to date of what's happening. They try to inform you of what is currently "in" and whats not in your circle of friends. When you are in trouble, they help you instead of just letting you solve it on your own. They do their best to help you out in whatever problems you're experiencing. If you've ever hurt their feelings, they still won't leave you. Instead, they would try to correct your ways and change you for the better.

These are the things that I think a true friend should have. If you have a friend who has those traits, don't you ever let go of them. Don't ever leave them behind. Make them feel what they deserve to feel. Make them feel like they are also a somebody. Treat them the way they treat you. In the end, everything will work out nicely.

7 - It Felt Like Hell

"The Accident"

Ever since I was I kid, accidents were always following me. Wherever I go, wherever I walk, wherever I sit, accidents was always sneaking up behind me. It's like they're attracted to me or something. I'm like an accident magnet. I can't hide from it. One way or another, they'll just be around the corner ready to pounce on me like a cat waiting to catch its mouse.

One time, I was riding a motorcycle at Ilocos Norte along with a friend. He was actually teaching me how to ride one. We we're passing a road full of rocks that time. He suddenly put down his feet on the road why'll we were riding the motorcycle. We suddenly went out of balance and we fell off the motorcycle. I tried stopping the wheel from spinning by pulling the break. I ended up turning the gas instead. It revved faster and faster. That actually scared shiznitz out of me. Fortunately, we where far away from the wheel. My thigh ended up touching the exhaust. Good thing it wasn't that hot. My thigh could have been burned just like that time my leg touched the exhaust of motorcycle that was recently parked on the side of the road. I was jogging at that time with my friends. We decided to take a rest for a bit. I saw a motorcycle which was roughly the height of my elbow back when I was a kid. The problem there was, I was at the side where the exhaust was placed. I leaned a bit and then BOOM! Well it didn't explode, but yeah, my leg touched the exhaust which gave me a 1st degree burn. I walked home looking like a crippled man.

I experienced a lot more accidents after. But the most memorable one was the time my cousin burned my thigh. It was the most agonizing pain I've ever experienced and I hope I'd never experience it again.

Trumpilyo in action
It was during new year when it happened. I don't know what year though. It happened like this. It was new year's eve. Me and my family, along with my grandparents and relatives was having a new year party at our house. We where lighting up a lot of fireworks that my parents bought. We had the fountain which was like a fountain (duh) but instead of water coming out of the hole, its fireworks. Hence the name fountain (another duh). We also had lusis, which was a really long stick that when its lit up, it burns colorfully. We also had that thing called the trumpilyo which was hammered into a wall and when you light it up, it spins really fast.

My cousin Enar, whom I mentioned in my previous posts, was scared of the trumpilyo. We never knew at first. My dad hammered the trumpilyo on a wall. I was 15 feet away from it. I was seating down beside a table during that time and my cousin was around 8 feet away from it. My dad lit the trumpilyo. The moment the trumpilyo started spinning, my cousin who was holding a lit up lusis, ran towards the table I was beside at. He hid under it while he was still holding the lit up lusis. The lusis then accidentally touched my thigh and damn! Just damn! It burned my skin and almost made a hole in it. It felt like a thousand needles piercing through a delicate part of my body. The feeling was agonizing. I screamed so loud that its even louder than 10 fireworks exploding simultaneously. I was about to pummel his face, good thing I was able to suppress my anger and my brain told me that it was just an accident and that I should calm down, everything will be fine. So I just asked him to call my mom instead.

The next time my dad lights up a trumpilyo, I'm gonna make sure that Enar is not around.

6 - The Most Amazing Toy EVER!

"Write about something you desperately wanted when you were a kid."

Have you ever wanted a toy back when you were a kid that you'd do anything just to get it? But then your parents never bought it for you because they just don't want to. They keep telling us the same old excuses over and over again. Something like, "you're just wasting money", "you're just gonna break it again." (Even though you haven't broke a single thing for over 3 months already), "you're just wasting your time!", "That toy is just a waste of time and money!". It's annoying how they come up with a lot of excuses just so that they won't be buying that toy you wanted the most anymore. Then a couple of minutes later, they're buying you clothes that makes you look like a clown who's questioning himself as to why he even took the job as an entertainer for kids who would just make fun of him. That actually happened to me. But I'm not gonna show you guys what they bought me. No freaking way.

Sad clown is sad

It started like this. It happened on a Sunday. I was still their only loving, handsome, charming, child. We went to church first to hear the word of the Lord. Everything was still going well at this time. After church, I asked my parents to buy me popcorn. Their was always a popcorn stand beside the church and every after mass, I'd always ask them to buy me one, and they did. After the popcorn galore, we went to the mall for our weekly mall day. Which was always during Sunday every after church. Since the mass ends at around eleven o' clock in the morning we went to the mall for lunch. After eating lunch, we went around the mall, window shopping. Some say window shopping is fun. But to me its just stupid. I mean, seriously? You just go around the mall staring at products and actually doing nothing to them. There's not even a single thought of even buying them. Just pure stare, stare, stare, stare, and stare at it some more. It would have been better if we we're actually canvasing. But no.... we just stare, and do nothing with it. Anyway, moving on to my story. As we were going around the mall, we passed by the toy shop, and damn it felt like I was in paradise. All the toys you want. Robot toys, racing cars, video games, all sorts of fun addictive contraptions made by companies to feed our entertainment needs. In the midst of all the toys and gadgets I saw, one thing caught my attention. The toy that I've always been looking for. The toy that all of my friends had, ZOIDS! The only toy that I wanted back when I was I kid. I'd do anything just to get me one of those. Especially the Blade Liger Zero Mk.II.

Just look at that beast! It's freaking Badass and FEROCIOUS!!!!

I tried asking my parents to buy me one. I tried telling them that I'd do anything for them. I'd clean the house for a whole year. I'll clean the car free of charge. I'll clean the plates every evening. But none of those was enough to get them to say "YES". There mind was set to say just one word. One word that would end the whole conversation. One word that would break my heart into tiny pieces. One word that would turn my whole world upside down. Just one word, "NO"! Everything suddenly went dark. My mind was ready to do its duty. The last thing that its programmed to do. CRY!

I cried like a "wittle" boy

Unfortunately, crying didn't help. I guess I can't do much anymore since their mind is already set to "NO". I gave up after that. There's no point in crying no more if all they're gonna say is "NO". It sucks. I didn't get what I wanted, I cried like a "wittle" boy, and I wasted my time trying to convince my parents to buy me that toy. Until now, I never got one. *Runs away crying......again.*

5 - Babysitting

"Write about a babysitting experience"

Babysitting, it's harder than you think  it is. Babies poop and cry, and they poop and cry. But most of all they poop and cry. When you feed them they poop even more. That's exactly what happened when my mom asked me to babysit my baby sister. I was 10 and she was 3 years old when it happened.

It was on a Saturday night. My mom had to go to some fancy party. She asked me to babysit my baby sister for the night. If you're wondering where my dad is, he was on duty at his office. So it was just me and my sister who was left at home. Everything was going great. She was just sitting quietly sitting in front of the TV watching Spongebob Squarepants while I on the other hand, was busy playing computer games. Then she got hungry. She politely asked me to cook her food. Since I was still a young whipper snapper, I just gave her milk and cereals instead. After my sister finished eating, I took the bowl, washed it, and then went back to the computer to play again. 10 minutes later, my sister started to cry, I didn't know why. I keep asking her what the problem is but she kept crying like Chewbacca when he saw Han Solo Frozen in carbonite. In other words, she was talking gibberish. And then I smelled something weird. it smelled rotten eggs and vinegar shoved in a sweaty fat man's posterior. I'm just exaggerating. It wasn't shoved into a sweaty fat man's ass. It was shoved into something far worse than that. Just kidding. I peeked into my sisters diapers, lo and behold, a squished poop said hi to me. I didn't know how to change diapers so she started pulling my hair. We ended up crying and shouting in the house for over three hours until my mom came home. After that I went back to playing the computer.

Lesson for that day: Learn to change diapers. It will be a life saver in the future. Especially if you're living with one of those monstrous abomination, the baby.

4 - Once was lost but now is found

"Describe an unforgettable experience"

Almost everybody has experienced losing something important right? It's one of the most heartbreaking experience you'll ever experience, especially if the object you lost has sentimental value with it. Even the manliest of man would break into tears if they lost something that's really really important to them. I also lost something dear not only to me but also to my family. It was a camera, the camera that contains almost all of our most memorable memories.

It happened on the day we went to Mall of Asia for our Graphic Design class. For the whole event I was using our camera. The pictures where to be used for out portfolio. I took a lot of pictures, as in a lot of pictures. The camera that I was using was jam-packed with art pictures. Anyway, so the event was now ending. As it ended, I and my friends rode a taxi back to our school which was Asia Pacific college. We went out of the taxi and went to Jollibee to eat dinner. While we we're talking about our recent trip, one of my friends mentioned the guy who was an expert in manipulating a glass ball. I suddenly remembered that I took a video of his performance. I touched my pockets to feel if my camera was in there, it wasn't. At this moment I was still calm. After touching my pockets, I looked for the camera inside my bag, I couldn't find it! I was sweating like a pig at this moment. I removed all the stuff in my bag, still no sign of the camera. My dad  came to pick me up. I still haven't told him what had happened. When we got home, I gathered up all my strength and told my dad what happened. Good thing my dad was very forgiving. Too cut the long the story short. A blockmate told me that someone who also studies in APC, who fortunately rode the taxi I and my friends rode too, saw my camera. The next day we met up and I thanked him for not keeping it to himself.

After all that had happened, I learned that we should take good care of our treasures. We don't know when and where we are going to loose it. But its better that you not loose it. EVER! We might no even get it back if we do. Fortunately for me, I and my blockmates prayed that I get my camera back. Fortunately again, it was returned to me.

3 - Death of an uncle

"I had to be strong that day"

Death, an event feared by many. Who would want to die? Nobody right? Except for really old people who wants to leave earth already because they're very tired and suicidals I guess. But most of us doesn't want to. WE WANT TO LIVE LONGER! We want to experience all the adventures that can be experienced here on earth. But that's not possible since everyone will die eventually. No one stays permanently here on earth, except for dead bodies. We have to accept that death is just waiting at the end of the road. Just like my uncle who passed away when I was in Grade five. I had to be strong the day he passed away.

My uncle was the best uncle I ever had. Every summer my mom drops me to their house to play with my cousin Enar (my cousin who I mentioned at my first blog post) for the summer. Every time I go their house, my uncle always thinks of awesome adventures. We once went to a farm to catch edible frogs for dinner. Just to clear things up, my uncle cleans the frogs before he cooks them or so I've heard. It taste a bit like chicken by the way.

Anyway, something happened. After I got back from school, my mother told me that something happened to my uncle. He suddenly collapsed while he was jogging. My uncle went to the doctor to find out what was happening  to his body. The doctor said that he had a stage 4 cancer.

To cut the long story short, he stayed at our house until the day he died. When we we're about to bury his body, I cried so hard. I tried my best not to, but I just couldn't stop. The reason why I was crying so hard was because I imagined that my dad was the one lying inside the coffin. From that point on, I felt what my cousin felt. While I was crying, my father saw me. He came close to me and asked "Why are you crying?" I didn't want him to tell why I was really crying because I was to shy, so I just pointed at the coffin.

One thing I learned after all that happened, is that we should always try our best to make every single moment count. We only have one life to live, don't was a single second. Make it productive, make it worth remembering. Don't waste your life on enemies. Forgive and forget, that's what I always say. Remember, ONE LIFE TO LIVE, Make every moment count.

2 - Going Berserk

"A thoughtless Act"

I was in grade three when it happened. It was the day our school had an activity for the grade three students. They called it "Odds Versus Evens". Just to give you an idea on what Odds Versus Evens is, It is an activity where the Odd sections would compete against the Even sections. The games played were basketball, rally race, tug of war, and volleyball.

It was at the middle of the event when it all happened. I was with the odd sections. Everything was going fine until this classmate of who was at the Even sections kept ranting about how much of a loser the Odd teams are. He kept saying, "Odd team sucks", over and over again! He also said that we were nothing but losers trying to lose again. I tried telling him to stop insulting our team. But the moment I tried, he started insulting me. He insulted they way I look. He told me that I'm skinny, puny, and nothing but bones. He even insulted my family. He told me that my mom was nothing but a maid who a married a gay guy. The moment he told me that, my mind went blank and I went berserk at him. I pummeled him to the ground and started punching face like a crazy chimpanzee. Good thing we were still kids back then or else, everything could have gotten worse. After 5 punches to his noggin, the teachers and the other students separated the two of us. Our teacher didn't let us play anymore after what had happened. She even sent the both of us home. The next day, I was sent to the guidance counselor because of him. The worst part of it is that I was the only being punished.

I learned a lot after what had just happened. I learned that no matter what happens, try your best to suppress your anger. Think before you act. Fighting won't solve anything. I will just lead you to your downfall.  It is better to solve the problem in a more diplomatic approach. If it fails, then do you what you must to defend yourself.

1 - The first and hopefully the last

"Describe a time when you really felt fear."

It was summer, 13th of May 2008, morning. My dad came home from the gym after playing badminton. Not much happened in the morning. It was in the evening where the weird things happened.

Come night time, my dad came looking for the badminton racket he used in the morning. He asked me to help him find it. We looked everywhere for his racket. The bedroom, the kitchen, outside. We even looked inside the bathroom. I don't know what came into my dad's mind that made him look inside the bathroom. But we still insisted on looking for it there. Anyway, we've lost hope looking for it in the house. He then asked me and my cousins, who fortunately went to our house for the vacation, if we want to come with him to the gym to check if his racket is still there.

Here's comes the scary bit. So me, my dad, my cousins, and our grandma, who also came to our house for vacation, went to the gym. My dad parked outside the gym where it was very dark. It was very dark because only one lamp was lit and that lamp was the one beside the car. He went inside the gym alone. The gym was closed though. I don't know how he managed to get in. Anyway, while we we're outside the car, I saw someone standing from afar. He looked like he was wearing a barong which was very unusual for someone to be wearing at night, and at the gym. So I looked at my cousin whose name is Enar and told him what I saw. He looked at the same place I looked and he said that there was no one there. I looked again, but the person was still there. I then asked my other cousin whose name is Paul if he also saw the person I saw. He looked, and yet again, he said the same thing Enar said to me. This time I was shaking so hard. I looked again, he was still there! But this time he was swaying a bit. I asked my grandma the same thing I asked my cousins. Guess what, she didn't see anyone. Not one single person. I looked at the place where the person was, lo and behold, he was gone.

By this time I was crying already due to the fact that I think I just saw a real ghost. I was shivering so bad I had a hard time explaining what had happened to my cousins and my grandma. So my dad came back with his racket (I still don't know how he manage to get it). He saw me wiping my tears off of my eye. He asked me what had happened. I didn't want anyone to know why I was crying so I told him that he was taking so long and I missed him. I don't know why I told him that though. Probably because they might get hurt or something if I told them.

That, my dear readers, is my first and hopefully last encounter of a ghost. I don't know why that happened. I don't why it happened to me. But I do hope that it doesn't happen again.
